February Rally Plan & Groups

Hi Members,

Welcome back to the 2026 year at YHPC! We are looking forward to a great start with a super busy February Rally. Please take the time to read the information below carefully.

Rally Groups

There has been some movement within groups this rally. While many groups may be working at similar grades, they may be divided based on a number of factors, including rider age and where possible, friendships.

Although we try to accommodate requests, this is not always possible, particularly where different jumping grades are involved. Groups are allocated based on Pony Club gradings rather than what riders may be training at home.

Groups are fluid and may change from rally to rally throughout the year, pending rally numbers and horse & rider combinations.

A reminder that if  you are bringing a new or different horse to rally, please notify us prior to the rally, as this may require a change of group to ensure sessions run smoothly.

Rally Etiquette & Important Reminders

  • Please arrive early, be prompt to sessions, and be ready for the morning gear check.

  • Please follow the directions of the parking monitor at all times.

  • We will have a large number of guests attending this rally, so please be welcoming and supportive of one another.

  • A reminder to pick up manure around floats, yards, parking areas, and common spaces.

  • If you need to leave a session early, please inform your instructor.

  • If you are not attending a session, please notify the DC as soon as possible, as your place may be able to be taken by another rider.

  • If you are listed as “not replied,” we have not received your response. If you are attending, please email ciarajlh@outlook.com as soon as possible and we will try to fit you in.

  • As always, if there are any issues or concerns on the day, please speak to the DC Team or a committee member as soon as possible.

See you on Sunday,

Ciara
